Mira que me gustan los Gallet, pero no pensaba que tuvieran tanta tradición.

Efectivamente. Hasta donde yo sé, Gallet.

Yo tampoco creo que tenga la mayor importancia, aunque, claro, chirría un poco que algunas se dediquen a presumir de logros pretéritos y supuesta tradición secular de excelencia insobornable, e incluso de no haber hecho según que tipo de relojes, cuando se han dado patinazos que las han llevado varias veces a la quiebra.

Al final, los suizos saben que el comprador de relojes de lujo compra, entre otras cosas, una historia feliz de éxitosa tradición en la que los relojes siempre fueron valorados y codiciados, y conviene ocultar que esto en muchos casos en absoluto fue así.

No es raro que precisamente (y casos extremos de coleccionismo o escasez/rareza de tiradas, como en PAM) los vintage más cotizados sean precisamente los de las marcas que con mayor éxito comericla han desarrollado sus trayectorias.

¿Que chirria, ...? ... a ti si te chirria, pero no generalicemos, ... A mi no me produce esa sensación.
Generalizando al dar una opinión, se presenta la misma como que es la de todo el mundo o la que debe ser.
Tener razón es una cosa, dar razones otra y la verdad absoluta no existe. Si muchas verdades.
No le busquemos los tres pies al gato, siempre, ......
Hay marcas con grandes hitos en la relojería, ........ unas siguen, otras desaparecieron y otras navegaron como pudieron.
La relojería actual es fruto de la suma de todas ellas.
