Algo más para abrir boca, aunque el blanco lo hubiera preferido en la versión 207 azul y, por pedir hubiera pedido que mantuvieran las 4 líneas y si ya no pueden con slytech, hubiera estado bien Luminor Marina (arriba) Blackseal Panerai Daylight Panerai (abajo). Del precio no sé sabe nada, pero son 500 unidades de este set (es decir hay que comprar los dos).

Along with all the other pieces that seem to be a big hit from this years Watches and Wonders, Panerai has released a beautiful box set that is a throwback to the historic models from Panerai past. The Panerai PAM785 Special Edition box set will consist of two models inspired by two of the most representative of pre-vendome period, originally created in 1996.
Between 1993 and 1997, Officine Panerai created only a few hundred watches which over the years have gone up in value significantly and are considered a part of the Panerai DNA. This was a time of rapid change in the Panerai collector community from a simple brand to a hot international collectors item.
These two watches that are part of the PAM785 set were a couple that were made to order for the American actor Sylvester Stallone who was a huge enthusiasts and largest advocates for the brand in it’s early stages. These watches could be seen worn in the movie Daylight. The first was a Luminor Black Seal and the second the Luminor Daylight. These pieces are brought back to life in this double set and limited to only 500 units each.
The set is presented in a box of pear wood and comes with a model of the human torpedo on a teak base as well as a rare publication about the military equipment of the special forces of the Royal Italian Navy.
The Luminor Black seal features a DLC coated 44mm steel case with a black dial, sub seconds, and a faux patina lume. The Daylight model features a white dial with sub seconds and arabic numerals around the complete dial.
The design of the new Luminors are fully inspired by the historic models from 1996 but the technical and guts of these two models have changed significantly over the years. The new pieces feature the new P.5000 mechanically wound 8 Days in-house movement manufactured in Neuchatel and houses in a solid case back.
Both pieces feature a vintage looking brown leather with a contrasting ecru stitch and sewn in buckle. They box also features two spare straps and screwdriver that are identical to the historic pieces.
