Esteban
Primer correo:
Dear Esteban,
Thank you very much for the photos. According to our archives, this movement is a caliber 11" 1/2 FELSA 694, produced on 15.12.1955.
As far as I can see on the picture, the dial is really oxidized and the index are damaged: this watch is probably not waterproof and the dial looks like if humidity was in.
Should you have any other request, I remain at your disposal.
Best regards,
Sylvie
Segundo correo:
Dear Esteban,
We still repair those antic models but we do not sell spare parts at all. In such cases we do not exchange the dial but there is a technical way to repair it : the dial refreshment.
It consists in taking of the indexes and all the paint of the dial and to re-paint it. The index are polished and re-set in place.
As far as we can see the push button at 8’ is a corrector to regulate the date more quickly: it’s a quick date setting corrector.
Probably this function is broken in the watch, without affecting the movement functioning. You can still adjust the date by winding the crown, it is just more fastidious.
Such old models are serviceable only here at the headquarter in Switzerland.
In order to give you an idea such kind of repair is near to the restoration and costs in most of cases around 2000 and 3000 CHF.
Should you have any other question, please do not hesitate.
Le mendo un cordial saludo,
Sylvie
